Membership Services
- We will produce a quarterly newsletter that will serve to provide an update on news and any changes to the National Standard that you should be aware of. It will also be used as a networking opportunity and to keep members up to date on what's happening in the area. If we need to update you urgently between newsletters, we will be in touch via email.
- We offer a programme of continuing professional development and a number of courses to develop your skills that will concentrate on specific areas that will be relevant to you. This might be because you are working with groups that have physical or learning difficulties and therefore need some assistance on best working practice for special educational needs. Or it may be that you need some training in another area that would support your role, such as a bike maintenance course.
- We will hold your professional details on file. This will include your instructor level with your number. We will also hold insurance details, ensure you are CRB checked and detail any further professional training, such as a first aid qualification, you have completed.
- At all times, you will be able to contact us for support. Our team of experienced instructors, mentors and assessors means that learning new skills is a part of membership. We'll also arrange peer review and organize visiting speakers to talk on relevant topics.
- We are required to provide a 'verification service' to the public who may ask for details of your credentials. We will do this in strict accordance with our data protection policy. If you have any worries, please contact us directly to discuss.
