We are delighted to announce Outspoken Training will be delivering Bikeability cycle training in Oxfordshire during 2019.

Oxfordshire County Council have secured £2,000 funded places from the Department for Transport to help introduce Bikeability into the county for the first time. Outspoken Training have been selected to deliver training in Oxford city and the Cherwell district. We  are looking forward to engaging with local schools to help enthuse the next generation of cyclists.

Bikeability is the modern version of cycling proficency and aims to encourage more people to cycle, more safely, more often. The nationwide programme gives participants practical experience, skills and understand on how to cycle on today's roads. There are three levels designed to improve cycling skills taking riders from the basics of balance and control through to planning and making independent journeys on busier roads. More information can be found on our deidcated Oxfordshire Bikeability webpage.

Head of Training, Kieron said:

"We are proud to have the opportunity to work with Oxfordshire County Council and bring Bikeability cycle training to the county for the first time. We can't wait to help equip local pupils with the skills and confidence to ride more and develop into lifelong cyclists."
