TABS Election Results Announced

The Association of Bikeability Schemes (TABS) have announced the result of their 2017 board elections with Caroline Lane (West Berkshire Council), Pauline Roby (Cycle4Life) and our own Kieron McNab (Outspoken Training) joining the board as directors.

TABS is a trade association who work with the Department for Transport to ensure the highest quality of delivery of Bikeability cycle training. TABS aims to work in the interest of Bikeability schemes, and represents the view of the professional cycle training industry in discussions and decision-making activities with Government agencies and other public bodies.

Outspoken has been keen supporters of TABS and Kieron will be the second Outspoken representative on the TABS board, following in the footsteps on of Michael Frearson who was on the board between 2013 and 2015 and has since moved on to work as a Director for The Bikeability Trust. Kieron said:

"I’m proud to be part of a fantastic and unique industry and am excited about the opportunity to make a positive difference by working with the TABS board to help the industry to continue developing.

I would also like to thank David Dansky, Liz Clarke and David Shannon for their work representing the industry. They will be hard acts to follow."
