Eddington Cycle Skills Training

How it works

We run sessions for adults and children wishing to improve their cycling, whether this is learning to ride a bike for the first time, gaining confidence on your commute to work or just wanting to get back into cycling.

We run 2 hour, one-to-one sessions with fully qualified and vetted, friendly instructors. Typically participants are:

New Cyclists - Learn to ride - perfect if you don't know how to ride a bike (no balance) and would like to enjoy the lifeskill of riding.

Rusty Riders - Level 1 - for those that have limited skills and need to master basic skills in an off-road environment.

Residential Riders - Level 2 - perfect if you're looking to build confidence on residential roads.

Advanced commuters - One-to-one session for those that want to build confidence on their ride to work. This includes a typical route to work or other regular commute.

Please see the booking form below for a list of dates, times and to book! We look forward to meeting you.

The sessions take place in Eddington (North West Cambridge Development) from the Market Square (CB3 1SE).

How much?

Training is completely free to all Eddington residents, subsidised by the University of Cambridge.

We cannot provide bikes specifically for the session but we do provide free bikes, helmets and other resources such as maps through the Eddington cycle loan scheme which residents can sign up to before the training (you will need to arrange to collect before the day of your training session).

Any questions?

If you have any questions or any of the session times really don't work for you, please do get in touch - call 01223 473820 or email
